Gate four of four

You cannot show a history you never started recording.

The fourth gate is measurement. Google only broke this out as its own report in June, it does not fill in the past, and the earliest date you can ever show is the day you switch it on. Most owners have never opened it.

An invented example. Your report carries your own numbers.

Why this one decides the rest

Without it you are guessing. You cannot tell whether the work moved anything, you cannot tell which change did it, and you cannot separate a model from a person in your numbers.

We also tell you plainly what cannot be measured here, because that matters more than the part that can. Ask a model the same question twice and you get two different lists. Anyone selling you a stable "AI ranking" is selling you noise.

  • No history, no proof You cannot show a line that was never being recorded.
  • Guessing is the default Without a baseline, no change can be credited to anything.
  • Answers move on their own The same question asked twice comes back differently. One reading is not a trend.
  • We say what we cannot see Some of this is not measurable, and that matters more than the part that is.
