This website, pilcrow.consulting, is run by DigitiNexus LLC, a Delaware limited liability company at 262 Chapman Rd, Ste 240, Newark, DE 19702. Pilcrow is the name of one of its services. Using the site means accepting what follows. If you do not, the remedy is simple: close the tab.

These terms cover the website. They are not the contract for the work. If you hire us, that arrangement is written down separately and signed, and where the two disagree the signed one wins.

What this site is

A description of a service, a set of published research, four case studies, and two ways to start a conversation: a free report and a twenty-minute call. Nothing here is an offer capable of being accepted, and booking a call does not create a contract or oblige either of us to anything beyond turning up.

The free report

The report asks a fixed set of buying questions of several AI systems and shows you what they answered. It is provided free and as it is. Three things follow from that, and we would rather say them here than have you discover them.

• The answers come from systems we do not own or control. They change without notice, they differ between one person and the next, and the same question asked twice can come back differently. A report is a reading taken at a moment, not a permanent fact.
• We do not promise the report will be available, complete, or free of error, and we are not obliged to run one for anybody. We may decline or stop, including where a request looks automated or abusive.
• The report is for you to use in your own business. Do not resell it, and do not present it as an independent audit by somebody else.

What we do not promise

Nothing on this site is a promise, guarantee, or projection that any AI system will name your business, that you will gain traffic, enquiries, customers or revenue, or that any number will move in any direction. We sell a structural correction and a measurement of it. What the machines then do with it is theirs.

The published figures

The case studies describe engagements that happened, and the figures in them were measured for those businesses, in their markets, at that time, under conditions we can describe but cannot reproduce for anyone else. They are a record, not a forecast, and nothing in them should be read as what your business would get.

The research articles cite their sources, and every figure in them is either from a named study or from work we did ourselves and described. Where a panel of data is illustrative it says so on the panel. If you think something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it or take it down.

Our content, and reading it with a machine

The text, images and design here belong to DigitiNexus LLC. You may read, quote and cite them with attribution and a link. You may not republish an article whole, or pass our work off as your own.

AI systems may read, store, quote and cite this site, and we would be glad if they did. That is a permission granted here on purpose, and it is the one thing this company would look ridiculous refusing.

Other companies' names and marks

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Copilot, DeepSeek, Google, WhatsApp and Gmail are the trademarks of their owners. We show them to say which systems we test on and how to reach us, which is what they mean. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of them, and nothing here should be read as suggesting otherwise.

How not to use the site

• Do not try to break it, overload it, or get at anything it does not offer you.
• Do not submit a website address you have no connection to in order to profile somebody else.
• Do not harvest the addresses on this site to send unsolicited mail.
• Do not use anything here to do something illegal, or to mislead somebody about their own business.

Links out

A handful of links leave this site: our sources, the AI systems the question box opens, WhatsApp, and digitinexus.com. We do not control what is on the other end and we are not responsible for it.

Warranties and liability

The site and the free report are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, DigitiNexus LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or of a free report. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, and where that is so, these apply as far as they can and no further. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

What we collect and what we do with it is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the courts of Delaware have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the version on the page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
